Live SWR disruption in Woking as trains were delayed all day

Due to a points fault at Woking railway stations, some South Western Railway lines have been disrupted today (May 14). The problem has been going on since yesterday, also causing trains through Woking to be delayed or cancelled.


Today’s disruption is expected until the end of the day. SWR said: “We have been advised that there is an issue with a set of switches at Woking. This means that some trains will be delayed or rescheduled as they need to use adjacent lines through the station. We are very sorry for any delays this may cause can cause on your journey.”



Elsewhere. Due to a signaling problem between Hampton Wick and Teddington, SWR trains have to run at reduced speeds on some lines.
