Police shot a man during a domestic disturbance at a Kansas home

SEDGWICK COUNTY – Law enforcement authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Sedgwick County.

Just after 10pm. On Monday, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1600 Block of North Wood in Wichita, according to police spokesman Andrew Ford.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. The officers left the call, but when the suspect returned to his home, his wife called police to return.

A struggle ensued between the officers and the suspect, during which the suspect was shot.

Police did not release any further details early Tuesday. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the investigation.
