Sunrise Beach woman faces court hearing after dog biting incidents – News / Talk KRMS

A Sunrise Beach woman has a future court date after a series of events came to an end when her dog allegedly put a bite back into crime.

A probable cause affidavit filed at the Camden County Courthouse shows the sheriff’s office responded to the home just a day after the dog bit a 70-year-old woman while checking her mail.

This time, the dog’s owner responded by yelling and cursing at animal control, dispatchers and a deputy. It is alleged that Mary Beth Frost took the dog outside on a leash before it got loose while attacking and biting the deputy’s finger and thumb.

Frost managed to get the dog into her vehicle and reattached the leash before helping get him into an animal control vehicle for a 10-day quarantine. The deputy was treated for the dog bites at Lake Regional.

Frost was issued a summons because the dog allegedly bit several people.
