‘Baby Reindeer’s real-life Martha sets record straight in interview with Piers Morgan as she weighs in on Netflix lawsuit

Baby reindeer real-life Martha will have her say about the Netflix series in a YouTube interview.

Fiona Harvey, who revealed her identity in a The daily record article this weekend, will be talking to Piers Morgan on Thursday evening at 8pm GMT.

Harvey will likely express her anger over Richard Gadd’s big Netflix series, which led to her being identified by internet sleuths. Morgan has described the series as ‘amazing’.

The drama was billed outright as a “true story” and provides a raw account of Gadd’s experience with an alleged stalker.

Gadd stars as Donny, while Jessica Gunning stars as Martha, who we now know is Scottish lawyer Harvey.

Harvey told The Daily record that she is considering legal action against Netflix and Gadd, claiming that the events of the series were “a load of nonsense.”

“Gadd has to prove that I went to jail, which just didn’t happen. I was never sent to prison. That is very clear,” she says.

“This is all made up and exaggerated. There are no restraining orders, injunctions or prohibitions anywhere. There’s just no way. I’ve never had the police at my door about these things.

“It’s a lot of nonsense. I don’t have any money, but I’m a great lawyer, so I’ll represent myself.”

Baby reindeer launched with little fanfare on Netflix, but has exploded on the streamer, with nearly 54 million views since its April 11 premiere. It has been Netflix’s best English-language series for three weeks in a row.

Netflix has been contacted for comment.
